Reece Tshoma was stabbed in the neck in Nathan Way, Plumstead on 23 March 2018.
A friend of his drove him to the hospital, arriving at 8.30pm, but he died later the same evening.
He was described as having been stabbed in Nathan Way, near to the railway station.
His post mortem gave his cause of death as being due to a stab wound and internal haemorrhage.
No arrests were made.
