A man was found dead at a property in Ripon Avenue, Whitefield on Wednesday 11 April 2018.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter shortly after and released on bail pending further enquiries.
It was thought that the man that died had been involved in an altercation earlier on at a property in Rydal Close.
One neighbour said that there had been an incident at the flat in Rydal Close after which she had seen a man walk down the street covered in blood.
Nothing more is known.
