Simon Dobbin was attacked near The Railway Tavern in Southend following a football match on 21 March 2015 and died from his injuries on 21 October 2020.
Five people were arrested for his murder on 10 June 2022.
His post mortem showed that there was a direct link between his death and the injuries he received in the incident.
However, nothing more is known.
