Susan Long was found sexually assaulted and strangled in Burgh Road on 10 March 1070.
She had been out dancing the the evening before at the Gala Ballroom in Norwich afterwhich she had caught the last bus home. It was thought that she had arrived in Aylsham at 11.10pm from where she would have had a 7 minute walk home, but she never arrived.
