The body of a newly-born female child was found in Exmouth Street off Commercial Road in Stepney.
It was found wrapped up in a canvas wrapper.
The doctor that examined it said that it was that of a fine, large, healthy child and that it had been dead for about a week.
He said that it's cause of death was neglect and want of attention at birth.
The jury returned a verdict of Found Dead.
