Gillian Affleck

Gillian Affleck went missing on 24 August 2017 in Brighton.

She was last seen at her home in Patcham, Brighton when she left her partner a note saying that she was going for a walk.

When her partner tried calling her phone was off and her bank cards have not been used since.

She was described as:

• White.
• 5ft 6in tall.
• Medium build.
• Shoulder-length brown hair.
• Wearing a thin blue or grey ¾ length sleeve top, a grey ‘stone’ effect Peter Storm waterproof jacket, brown ankle boots and a knitted grey scarf.
• Carrying a small grey Karriemor rucksack.

She had been in a relationship with another woman for the previous eight years and they were thinking of getting married later the following year.

Gillian Affleck had worked for Legal and General and had lived in Brighton since 2002. She was initially from Scotland.

Her partner said that she last spoke to Gillian Affleck on the morning of 24 August 2017 as she was travelling from Essex to Brighton but that when she got home she found that Gillian Affleck had gone out leaving just a note saying that she had gone out for a walk. She noted that Gillian Affleck often went out for walks and said that she would often go to the Patcham Place and Horsdean recreation grounds.
