She had been stabbed 12 times in the neck and heart.
It was later reported that a convicted murderer had confessed to her murder, along with other murder, but later renounced his confession. it was said that the police looked into his confessions but found no further meaningful lines of enquiry.
She had lived in Pencraig Way, Peckham.
