Robert Curtis

Robert Curtis died after falling in front of a tube train on the Jubilee line.

However it was thought that he might have been killed by Russian agents.

He had previously run a string of successful companies, having had fifteen during his peak but was said to have suffered during the 2008 recession  and at the time of his death only had one still running. He had started his business in the early 2000s letting upmarket properties and was noted for having dated a famous model and having lived a jet set lifestyle, however, after the collapse of his business empire he was said to have suffered from depression and his marriage failed. It was also noted that a friend of his, Paul Castle, who had been friends with Prince Charles had also committed suicide at Bond Street station and that that had affected him.

He was said to have been living in a Travelodge at the time he died.

It was also suggested that at the time of his death that he had become heavily indebted to loan sharks.

However, although the police said that they were not treating his death as suspicious, it was reported that his death, as well as the deaths of four of his other friends in apparent suicides, had been added by the US intelligence agencies to files on suspected Russia-linked assassinations.

The four other friends were:

1. Johnny Elichaoff 55, fell from the roof of Whiteleys shopping centre in west London in November 2014.
2. Boris Berezovsky 67, was found dead at his home in Berkshire with a ligature around his neck in March 2013.
3. Paul Castle 54, hit by a train at Bond Street Station in November 2010.
4. Scot Young 52, fell from his four-storey London penthouse in December 2014.

A friend of Scot Young said, 'There were five friends who all ate together at Cipriani who are all now dead. They were all linked in business and all owed a lot of money to the wrong people'.
