Tyrone Hayman died after being stabbed at his flat in Bedminster, Bristol on 14 December 2019.
A 14-year-old youth was tried for his murder but acquitted after saying that Tyrone Hayman impaled himself on the knife after approaching him. He admitted having hold of the kitchen knife at the time that Tyrone Hayman was stabbed with, but said that Tyrone Hayman accidently impaled himself on the knife and that he had not intended to hurt him.
