Nadeem Qureshi

Nadeem Qureshi was found dead on land off Station Road in Deepcar.

His body was found at about 7.15pm on 24 July 2019.

It was thought that he had been a passenger in a van delivering nitrous oxide canisters to Sheffield when it was ambushed and robbed at gunpoint and he was run over.

He had multiple injuries to his head, chest, abdomen and lower limbs.

Seven people were arrested in relation to his murder. They were:

1. 18-year-old man, suspicion of murder.
2. 22-year-old man, suspicion of murder.
3. 23-year-old man, suspicion of murder.
4. 34-year-old man, suspicion of murder.
5. 30-year-old man, suspicion of murder.
6. 38-year-old man, suspicion of murder.
7. 41-year-old woman, suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

And three people were tried for his manslaughter but the jury was unable to reach a unanimous or majority verdict. In the first two trials the juries were also unable to reach a verdict.

Nadeem Qureshi had been from Sheffield.
