Muhammed Mujahid Hussain was stabbed in Duckworth Lane, Bradford, on 22 April 2021 and died in the early hours of the following day.

A man was tried but acquitted on 17 December 2021. He said that he had been acting in self-defence when he had stabbed Muhammed Hussain in the chest.

Muhammed Hussain was killed during a confrontation between two groups.

Eight people were convicted of roles relating to the disorder on 10 November 2022.

They were:

  1. 20-year-old man, Wheatlands Crescent, Bradford, cleared of murder and manslaughter, convicted of causing grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to an attack on 8 April 2021, young offenders institute for 3 years.
  2. 18-year-old man, of West Park Road, Bradford, violent disorder, young offenders institute for 13 months.
  3. 20-year-old man, of Sunrise Close, Bradford, violent disorder, young offenders institute for 18 months.
  4. 21-year-old man, of Airedale College Terrace, Bradford, violent disorder, suspended prison sentence of 15 months.
  5. 21-year-old man, of St Pauls Avenue, Bradford, affray, jailed for 3 months.
  6. 25-year-old man, of Nurser Lane, Bradford, violent disorder, jailed for 21 months.
  7. 19-year-old man, of Hinchliffe Street, Bradford, violent disorder, young offenders institute for 8 months.
  8. Man, conviction and sentence unknown.

Telephone records indicated that there had been a falling out between the groups and that there had been some element of planning to the incident.

Following the stabbing Muhammed Hussain was taken to hospital in a car but died in the early hours of 23 April 2021.
