The body of a newly-born female child was found in Hackney Churchyard.
It was found with two bootlaces tied tightly round it's neck.
A pin had also been found driven through the laces and buried into the flesh at the back of the neck.
A doctor said that death was due to strangulation, with the baby having been murdered soon after death.
