Margaret Bradbury was knocked down by a van on the morning of Saturday, 21 November 2020.
She had been hit by a Mercedes van on Droylsden Road, after which the driver and a passenger ran off.
The police were seen examining the van after the incident.
A 42-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released under investigation, but nothing more is known.
