Daniel Entwistle went missing from his home on 3 May 2003, which was a bank holiday.
He was last seen on CCTV footage in Blencowes, a store near his home at 5.05pm. the shop was about a minute ride from his home.
His red BMX bike was later found abandoned near the river at Trinity Quay in the early hours of the following morning.
He was 3' 2" tall, with a thin build and short light brown cropped hair. He was said to have a pale complexion and a strong Northern accent. He was wearing a blue Adidas T shirt with striped sleeves and an Adidas motif on the chest, blue tracksuit bottoms and grey coloured training shoes.
It was noted that his family had only recently moved to Great Yarmouth from Burnley in Lancashire three years before and that he had a strong northern accent.
