Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor drowned in a lake.

He had been drinking with friends. 

One of his friends said that Peter Taylor had waded into the lake to get a sherry bottle that had fallen in but got into difficulties. He said he tried to help him but couldn't and afterwards went home without telling anybody.

However, when he was later questioned by the polce after Peter Taylor was reported missing he told them what had happened.

An open verdict was returned.
