She had been living at 91 Pepys Road in New Cross.

A friend of hers, a 29-year-old woman who lived in Landcroft Road, East Dulwich, said that they had been friends and that she knew of the pregnancy, but knew nothing about an illegal operation.

An open verdict was returned.
