Dharmendra Unadkat was stabbed at 68 Kingston Avenue, Wigston, on the evening of Thursday 11 February 2021.
His post mortem found that he died from a stab wound.
A woman in her 40s was arrested at the time but no charges were made.
The police were called out to the property at about 8.50pm on the Thursday night, however, Dharmendra Unadkat was pronounced dead at the scene.
