Dylan Crossey

Dylan Crossley was hit in the street by a car.

However, the man was leared of causing death by dangerous driving and careless driving in 2018 and the Crown Prosecution Service later declined to charge the driver with gross negligence manslaughter.

However, at the inquest in 2024 the Coroner noted that the driver had 'caused or contributed' to his death.

It was heard that the driver had been entering a post code into his sat nav at the time and that he had, 'consumed alcohol that evening before driving to an extent that he should not have been driving'.
