A man was stabbed.at a property in Kennard Road, Kingswood near Bristol on Sunday 7 February 2021.

The police were called out at about 3am.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and the police were given extra time to detain him by the magistrates whlle they carried out their investigations, but nothing more is known.

On Monday 8 February, the police said:

A forensic post-mortem examination was carried out earlier today and the cause of the man’s death has been confirmed as a single stab wound. Formal identification of the victim has not yet taken place but we believe it to be a 24-year-old man from Bristol.
