John McDonald

John McDonald was stabbed in the forecourt of the Cathkin Hotel in East Kilbride Road, Burnside, Lanarkshire on 15 July 1962.

A man was tried for his murder but acquitted.

The judge noted that it was clear from the evidence that not all the witnesses were telling the truth, although he noted that 'It may be that few of them are telling very much of the truth'.

John McDonald had lived in Caledonian Circuit, Cambuslang.
