The body of a newly-born female child was found near an outside lavatory at some works in Upper Street, Islington on 9 March 1963.
It was found in a lobby at the rear of a gown factory workroom in Upper Street.
A woman's handkerchief, tightly rolled, had been pushed down the child's throat.
The child had been about a week old.
