Chino Johnson

Chino Johnson was shot in Ferrey Mews, Stockwell in a drive-by-shooting around 9pm on 12 September 2021.

Two women were also injured in the shooting.

Four men were arrested at Heathrow Airport on 22 September 2021, but nothing more is known.

Chino Johnson had been standing with some friends in Ferrey Mews on the Angell Town estate, when two people rode by on a moped and opened fire on them and then drove off in the direction of Bennett Road and Dora Way.

Chino Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The moped that the two people had been on was described as light-coloured with a large black square box mounted on the rear and with an L plate hanging down. It was thought to have been either a Yamaha NX or similar model.

The police appealed for anyone who knew anything about the moped to come forward.

The men arrested at Heathrow Airport were described as:

1. 20-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of murder.
2. 20-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
3. 22-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
4. 24-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

However, nobody was charged with murder.
