Baby

The body of a female child was found in Northampton on 18 May 1982.

It was found strangled and wrapped up in a carrier bag at in Chalk Lane, near Northampton station by a 14-year-old boy. The boy said that he had picked the relativly new looking bag up wondering whether there had been any worthwhile items in it, thinking that it could have been dropped on the way from the local shops.
