Ian McGregor

Ian McGregor was hit by a vehicle whilst out with the Scouts on a night hike on 6 June 1986 whilst walking through Elstree.

Ian McGregor had lived in Whitchurch Gardens, Edgeware.

He had been out walking with four other Scouts along Watling Street in Elstree when he was hit.

The incident was said to have happened just before midnight on an unlit part of the road.

He was declared dead on arrival at the Northern Orthopaedic Hospital.

The police said that the vehicle involved had been a car or light van.
