Mehmood Shamshi was found injured in Staines Road near the junction of Cromwell Road, Hounslow on Wednesday 18 August 2021.
He was taken to hospital but died in the early hours of Saturday 21 August 2021 from head injuries.
He had been found at about 12.40am. It was thought that he had been assaulted at the location about two hours earlier on 17 August 2021 and police appealed for anyone that had been in the area between 10.30pm and 11.30pm that saw anything suspicious to come forward.
A teenager was charged with his murder in February 2023, but nothing more is known. He was charged 18 months after Mehmood Shamshi died.
A 16 year old youth was arrested shortly after Mehmood Shamshi died, but it is not known whether he was the same youth that was charged.
