Marie Elizabeth Pellow

Marie Elizabeth Pellow was found dead in a ditch in a field in Cornwall.

She was found two months after her family had reported her missing and her body was partly decomposed.

Her body was found on 8 August 1984 in the ditch in a field at Trewithien Farm in Sticker. She was still clothes and wearing her gold wedding ring.

Identificatin was made by reference to dental records.

Her inquest heard that despite intensive investigation into her death, that it seemed that her cause of death would never be known.

She had lived at Trewinnow Farm in Grampound.

An open verdict was returned at her inquest at St Austell on Monday 3 September 1984.
