Philip Geddes

Philip Geddes, Jasmine Cochrane-Patrick, Kenneth Salvesen, Noel Lane, Jane Arbuthnot and Stephen Dodd died in a 20lb bomb attack outside Harrods in Hans Crescent, London on Saturday 17 December 1983.

The bomb was planted in a 1972 blue Austin 1300 GT four-door saloon car and exploded about 1.21pm. The IRA had sent a warning at 12.44pm, but no action was taken alough at the time it went off a police car with four policemen in it an a policeman on foot with a dog were approaching it.
