Graham Fisher and Carol Fisher were shot three times with a sawn-off shotgun and then beaten to death with sledgehammers at their home in Wadebridge, Cornwall on 5 November 2003.

Two brothers were convicted of their murders in January 2006 at Exeter Crown Court, but they were granted a retrial in 2023 and acquitted on 18 December 2024. The brothers had been 29 and 31 years old.
