Anna Valente died two weeks after a burglary at her flat in Telford House, Portobello Road, North Kensington.

A youth had broken in and stolen £200.

However, a pathologist said that there was no direct link between the burglary and the heart attack that caused bronchopneumonia.

Anna Valente was brought to St Mary's Hospital in Paddington after feeling dizzy at her local shop.

She told a doctor that the youth had burgled her flat about two weeks earlier and pushed her around and stolen £200. she added that other youths had also been going to her house and threatening to rob her.

She was discharged, but he next day was admitted to St Stephens Hospital in Fulham complaining of chest pain and died two days later.

A doctor said that Anna Valente had had severe heart disease and that there was evidence of two previous heart attacks. 

He said that she had been a frail woman and could have had a heart attack at any time.

A detective said that the boy who burgled her flat hadn't been traced but that the other boys that had been frighteneing her had.

Telford House has since been demolished and the area replaced with new flats.
