Andrew Hare was found dead on a railway line on 7 August 1982.
He was said to have plunged from an overnight Aberdeen to London express train between Bradbury and Sedgefield, near Newton Aycliffe in County Durham. He was noted to have been drunk at the time and to have had a scuffle with un unknown man referred to as 'stereo man', because he had had a cassette player with him. He was also said to have been seen arguing with a group of youths.
