Kashir Bedesha died after being injured in a disturbance at the Mirch Masala restaurant in London Road, Norbury on 23 July 2006.
The incident took place around 10.00 pm and he was taken to the Mayday Hospital in Thornton Heath where he died the following day.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, but no charges, trials or convictions are known.
His post-mortem was inconclusive.
