Date: 4 Jun 1958
Betty Mounsey Tull was found dead in her bed on the night of 4 June 1958.
Her death had been due to barbiturate poisoning, however, the Coroner said that he did not find any evidence to show that Betty Tull had intended to take her own life and an open verdict was returned.
It was further heard at her inquest that Betty Tull had suffered from certain delusions including that she was employed by MI5, that she had won the VC and said that she wanted to get back to her work at Scotland Yard.
Her estate was settled on Saturday 4 October 1958 where it was found that she had left £7,853 12s 5d gross, £4,632 10s 6d net with £249 duty paid.
In her will she left £50 to her farm bailiff, £50 to a Harley Street doctor and £50 to another man that lived in Surrey Street with the remainder to her executor, a solicitor, that lived with the other man at Surrey Street.
