Richard Odunze-Dim was shot in the ground floor front room of 97 St Joseph’s Road, Edmonton on 18 December 2018 at about 9.15pm and died about an hour later.
He had been in the room with a number of people when someone fired two shots through the closed front room window. He suffered two gunshot wounds to his face and neck. He was pronounced dead at 10.10pm.
His post mortem stated that his cause of death was a gunshot wound.
A number of people were arrested in relation to his murder but no one was charged.
The police said that they were looking to trace a black Audi 4x4 car that had been seen driving around the scene near to the time the shots were fired.
A detective said, 'I am confident that people in the community know what happened and who may have been responsible'.
Richard Odunze-Dim had been a student at Brunel University and had been home visiting his parents at the time.
