Colin Munro was found drowned in the River Thames near the Old Swan Pier on 24 August 1904.
He had been a tea merchant and had been living at 130 Akerman Road in Brixton. Just before 10pm on the Friday 19 August 1904 he had left his business premises in South Lambeth for a business appointment in Clapham after which nothing more was heard from him. It was noted that he had apparently not kept the business appointment.
