Fuller Robinson was found dead in bed in a hut in Burniston's Field, Redcar.
He was last seen on the Sunday by a neighbour and was found dead in bed on the Monday with unexplained injuries.
The post-mortem revealed that he had severe bruises on the lower part of his body and his left thigh and that the cause of death was due to shock consequent from the injuries. The doctor also noted that his heart was badly diseased.
He said that the bruises on his thigh and buttock must have been caused by a severe blow of some kind.
His bruises were described as mysterious.
Fuller Robinson had lived alone in the hut.
