The bodies of two newly born male twins were found wrapped up in a brown paper parcel by a gardener in Kings Avenue, Clapham Park.
The parcel was found against a wall by the gardener at his employer’s house at about 11.30am. It was dry except for the part that had been in contact with the ground and had apparently been there for a few hours.
The pathologist said that one of the twins had partially inflated lungs and said that he could not determine whether it had lived, but said that the second twin had been born stillborn.
