Riccardo Holness died after being attacked in Beckenham High Street just after 1.20am on Sunday 17 October 2021.
He suffered head injuries in the attack and taken to hospital where he died a month later on 12 November 2021.
His post-mortem examination gave his cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.
A 26-year-old man was arrested the day after the attack on suspicion of GBH and bailed but nobody was charged with his murder.
The police appealed for witnesses to come forward.
