Julie Moore

Julie Moore was found dead in an office in March 1994.

A man was tried for her murder but acquitted.

Julie Moore was said to have been battered repeatedly with a fire extinguisher and strangled. Her head was said to have been so visiously beaten that her face was unrecognisable.

Her body was found in a pool of blood by an office worker arriving for work in the morning.

Julie Moore had been a postal courier.

The man tried was said to have been seeing Julie Moore, however, he claimed that he had been at work in Brimingham city centre at the time of the murder.

It was also heard that DNA results on hair found on her body, presented to the court two days before the trial, didn't match that of the man.
