Flora Alice Fisher died from the result of an illegal operation.
She died at Westminster Hospital shortly after her admission.
She was a married woman, and was the wife of a tailor who carried on his business in London Wall, City.
Her husband said that Flora Fisher complained of internal injuries on 24 July 1904 and that on the following day a consultation by three doctors revealed the cause of her illness. She was then taken to Westminster Hospital where she died on Monday 5 September 1904.
Her husband said that he had taken no steps to ascertain by whom the operation had been performed.
A doctor at Westminster Hospital said that her injuries could not have been self-inflicted, but that Flora Fisher had told her that she didn't know the cause of her illness.
Her inquest at Westminster on Tuesday 20 September 1904 returned a verdict of wilful murder against some person or persons unknown.
